Christopher A. Carrion

Christopher A. Carrion is the principal attorney and founder at Carrion Law Group, P.C. ("CLG"). He focuses his practice on criminal defense, family law and general litigation. Prior to founding CLG, Christopher was a Pro-Bono Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases and worked on several trials including attempted murder and armed robbery. He has appeared before state and federal courts across NYC and upstate New York.

Christopher has also handled complex litigation matters, Article 78 proceedings and issues of municipal liability. He has advised and counseled clients on a wide range of issues including misdemeanor & felony charges, grand jury proceedings, labor & employment cases, and matrimonial, child support & custody matters. As a native Spanish speaker, he has advised and counseled clients in both English and Spanish. 

Professional & Community Affiliations

Christopher is a board member of MetroLALSA, Inc., a non-profit organization made up of Latino attorneys and law students in the NYC/NJ area aimed at serving the Latino community and increasing diversity in the legal profession.

He is an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, sitting on the Young Lawyers Division Committee for the New York Region. He also sits on the Criminal Law and Criminal Courts Committees for the New York City Bar Association, the Professional Ethics Committee, Law Related Education Committee and the Civil Rights and Liberties Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association in addition to being a member of a variety of bar associations including the Puerto Rican Bar Association, Bronx Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Dominican Bar Association.

Christopher served on the Independent Judicial Screening Panel for the New York County Democratic Party which was tasked with vetting candidates for Supreme Court vacancies in NY County.
